Jay the Comedian was good for a while, but he seems to be a big Cedars fan-boi, which is hard for me to imagine with his street smarts.

Jay lost a lot of credibility not only as a voice in this community, but as a comedian when he made his Lloyd defence “comedy” video. I think he let what he perceived to be his friendship with Lloyd get in the way because that could have been made into an excellent comedy routine. Coach Dee Free really lit into him and that was the perfect example of comedy from a Black perspective. “Talk about preaching the Good News in all the inhabited Earth!” was a classic.

Instead Jay just whines about it being “not our business”, as if his boy hadn’t just spilt it all on the livestream and on FB just days before he made his video. Now what real comedian watches that livestream and all he takes from it is “not your business!”?

Chris Rock completely obliterated Will and Jada Pinkett Smith for bringing their personal life into an interview. He specifically called out Jada for some “low down shit” and had no idea why they’d put that info out in public.

Real comedians don’t discriminate. If there is material out there for a stand up routine, they embrace and run with it. But Jay is online friends with Lloyd, so turn the comedy against the people Lloyd was ranting against I guess. A fat man who just got up out of bed chugging whiskey said he didn’t have any mastery over his penis, but the comedy was somehow turned on the people whom that line was directed towards. Great comedy, Jay. Can’t wait to see your show about knocking on doors as a kid. Really groudbreaking.

I suppose that’s one of the many reasons why Chris Rock is making million dollar Netflix specials and hosting the Oscars whilst Jay is struggling to get noticed on the Chicago stand-up scene.

That’s a hard disagree from me on that. For one, Wally has time for everyone and I mean everyone. He freely gives his email out, responses are always forthcoming and he doesn’t bitch that he is busy. He also gives his phone number out and talks to people with little thought to whether they could come on his channel or other ways it could benefit him personally.

He talks to both sides of the issue, both Cedarites and critics and I’ve never seen him hammer home the fact he was right like Lloyd does. The only time he ran afoul of Lloyd was when he was asking him a simple question about whether an apology was owed to the TTATT people since his actions have now tanked it. He’s gotten a tonne of shit, especially from the Cedarites but even some from critics. He’s genuinely interested in keeping the peace which is why some may misinterpret his actions.

His videos emanate none of the arrogance and bravado of Jabba the Hutt’s. A JW could come onto Wally’s show and be shown nothing but personal respect. Lloyd would try to humiliate and make a punch bag out of them.

I am not speaking for Wally nor am I affiliated with him, but seriously…. Send him an email (listed in the comments on every video) and ask to speak. He’ll gladly listen to you regarding your concerns about him. Try that with Lloyd and you’ll get labelled as a hater and subsequently blocked.

I understand why he’s doing that. He’s getting paid anyway, is being lazy and demonstrates a general apathy towards JW info which in reality has been going on for years. He loves the sensational info like TMIII buying a shit tonne of expensive scotch and his removal from the GB.

Is this a solid business strategy? No. And it’s contributing to his irrelevance. In the short term it’s working for him, but will necessitate the need for a new begging video, this time with a noticeably lower success rate.

As for the Patreon numbers, he was up to 508 to the other day. They fluctuate after the drop but generally go back to the original drop number by the end of the month - in this case 500. Last month he was down to 526, spiked to 534, and back down to 528 two days before the drop.

The “sushis” represent a finger food, an hors d'oeuvres. Since his livestream and Andrew Gold video are his “best” all time, let’s make our own “sushis” since it’s hard to get people to watch a pathetic man cry and bitch for almost two hours.

Lloyd doesn’t want any part of a movement he cannot dominate. He does not envision exJW activism having any kind of success without him.

He wants the money he made in 2021 and before and it’s slowly creeping on him that he has a much lower ceiling now. He isn’t really interested in the activism part anymore. It’s even been stated that he is ambivalent about getting back into it since it could possibly benefit those who criticise him.

People lose interest in their jobs all the time. It’s not unheard of that someone his age could possibly switch careers. This gig he has is just not working anymore. You can’t run an animal charity and hate them at the same time. He’s just not suited for this kind of work. It’s a dead end job because he’ll always be struggling to advance. So he’ll be on this hamster wheel for as long as he keeps up the exJW charade.

Once his case is dismissed, it will negatively impact his reputation and donation base even further. He’s painted himself into a corner and is trapped. I imagine he’ll just follow WT’s playbook and pretend it never happened.

To that end, I think we should get our hands on the final ruling in this case when it comes and have it professionally translated into English for posterity. People need to know how he threatened people and slandered them as “criminal defendants” when in reality it was a frivolous case that got dismissed.

If you sign up 499 new subscribers your total is still at 500, so the lost customers don't show up in the numbers. But these are all new customers, lacking any history or commitment to you.

You make an apt point. Most of his patrons 2021 and prior have fled him. Probably 3/4ths at least. Most of his current support consists of people who have just joined and are seeing the current output of LE, not the one who was on Leah Remini and the go-to EXJW source in the news media. They are seeing this pathetic middle aged man dye his hair and do standup about wanking. They hear about unspecified “defamation” and how he’s always needing more money to make his videos. Then he gets routinely outperformed by other exJW YTers.

Cycling customers like this is a sign of a business in trouble. You want repeat business, if you can't keep customers coming back, your problems will eventually sink your business.

This is why many of us here on this thread and elsewhere have stated that this is unsustainable. The begging stunt only masked a deeper problem with his business model, and that was one of retention. That video was very manipulative and full of false information. He claimed “the defamation has failed” before contradicting himself by saying it has caused a lot of his financial support to dry up.

This is the reason why Lloyd is dead set on scaring people into being silent about him by threatening legal actions. I cannot stress this enough: that was a huge and unforced blunder. He has mismanaged this crisis from the beginning by not addressing the problem and attacking all those who offer critiques of him. He’ll never get it right. He’s a narcissist and a bully who is going down fighting. There was never going to be an instance where he sat down, acknowledged the concerns and offered to make real changes. People are lured back in by offering them your hand, not the middle finger. He missed that boat anyway and people are finding out how much of an angry and bitter man he is. People are finding out that this is all about the money for him and he’s not lifting a finger he doesn’t have to if not compensated to the level he thinks he’s entitled to.

OK, let’s hammer out the rules. Toblerone5 is French Canadian, so Québec is EST or UTC -5. So let’s set it there so as not to impose unfair reporting times on the organiser.

When the 2nd of the month falls on a weekend we wait until Monday at 12 noon (EST) for the final number. This allows for the ones who did not mean to drop to rejoin as is often common.

For weekdays we wait until the 2nd of the month (if it falls on a weekday) at 9 PM EST.

I suspect this is his medium term plan: to stop making videos altogether but leave old videos up and keep collecting donations from whoever is stupid enough to keep sending him money

This has been his plan and he has stated that he eyes some sort of activist emeritus position. A few years back he made this huge ceremony about handing off JW Survey to Covert Fade/Daniel Walker and Mark O’Donnell in the hopes they would run the site for him whilst he collected the revenue. It didn’t work, CF quit and by the time he jumped back on, the website was dead.

As these past three months have proven, Jabba the Hutt needs to be front and centre in all this and perform pony tricks to kick start the grift. He’s losing patrons at his current level of production. If he goes down further he loses the narrative completely and others can and will overtake him. It can be argued that a few already have. He likely wants someone to take over for him on the “Lloyd Evans Channel” on a salary, where he gets to keep most the money for doing nothing.

He *might* be able to have this grift fund him until death, but he’s putting out content until he drops. There’s no pension with this and that’s why he’s so sore he got exposed because at the rate he was funding, he had enough to start putting aside for that purpose.

I hope that heart disease, colon cancer or HIV doesn’t overtake him for the sole reason of being able to watch a 70 something year old Lloyd Evans making his 57th begging video, complaining that he needs heart surgery and might have to go into hospice care if donations don’t improve.
